The Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan has opened an international exhibition "Chinese Porcelain: Art Through the Ages".

The exhibition consists of 108 porcelain items and comprehensively demonstrates the art of Chinese porcelain, introduces its history and features of style and production, ornamental patterns, a variety of colors and shapes of vases, vessels, dishes, jugs and bowls. From the simple elegance of white porcelain to the bright shades of underglaze blue and overglaze enamel, the masters have mastered techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation.

Visitors will be able to appreciate the masterpieces of the masters of the ancient city of Jingdezhen, known as the "porcelain capital of the world", and feel the deep cultural heritage and artistic charm of Chinese porcelain.

This year is marked by partnership between the countries in the tourism and cultural sectors, the Year of Kazakhstan Tourism in China has been declared. The event has become an important cultural event for the city of Almaty and Kazakhstan. The exhibition aims to further promote exchanges and cooperation between China and Kazakhstan in the field of culture and art, as well as strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.

The exhibition will run until August 14, 2024.
