12 August, 2024

The first Business Forum "C5+Japan" was held in Astana, bringing together representatives of five Central Asian states and more than 100 leading Japanese companies and organizations operating in key sectors of the economy. The event became an important step towards deepening cooperation between the regions in the field of technology and innovation.

At the forum, the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Japanese company Challenge and Lead signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

This document lays the foundation for close cooperation, within the framework of which IT specialists from Kazakhstan will have the opportunity to undergo training and internships in Japan.

In addition to developing IT systems in Japan, Challenge and Lead is actively involved in training and employment of IT specialists from countries such as South Korea, Uzbekistan and Mongolia. The signed Memorandum opens up new opportunities for Kazakhstani specialists, allowing them to develop their skills and apply them in international projects.

The forum also touched upon key issues of introducing artificial intelligence technologies, building data centers and ensuring cybersecurity. Cooperation in these areas can significantly strengthen the positions of Central Asia and Japan in the global market, opening up prospects for mutually beneficial partnership and further technological progress.
