Today, there is a joyful event in the Kostanay region. The region is one of the first to complete large-scale work on restoring housing damaged by floods. Residents of the region whose houses were damaged by the high water are fully provided with housing.

It is noteworthy that it was the Kostanay region that became the first region to complete such large-scale work on the construction of individual residential buildings for flood victims.

The final stage of large-scale construction was the presentation of keys to new housing in the southern districts of the Kostanay region.

The keys to 19 new houses were received by residents of the Dzhangeldinsky district, who suffered from the flood this spring. Another 18 houses are celebrating housewarming parties today in the Amangeldinsky district.

Instead of houses recognized as unfit for habitation, new houses with a standard layout and an adjacent land plot were built in record time. The keys to the new buildings were handed over to the villagers by the Deputy Akim of Kostanay Region Rinat Mukhametkali and the representative of the Public Foundation "Kazakhstan Halkyna" Chingiz Sharapiev. Within the framework of the memorandum between the Akimat of Kostanay Region and the foundation, the construction of 89 individual residential houses for victims in Amangeldy, Dzhangeldy and Kostanay districts was financed in the region.

"I must admit that until the last day I did not believe that the builders would make it before the cold weather, they had such a huge amount of work to do," shares his impressions a resident of the village of Amangeldy Zhanibek Karimzhanov. - Instead of an old adobe house destroyed by the flood, we received a solid brick house. Beautiful, bright.Ours! I would like to say a huge thank you for this to the President of Kazakhstan, and to the leadership of our region, as well as the district. We are very happy, life goes on, or rather, it is just beginning…. "

Residents of the villages of Amantogai, Baigabyl and Agashtykol in the Amangeldy district are also preparing for the joyful event. The construction of 5 houses for flood victims has been completed there. The ceremonial presentation of the keys will take place there tomorrow. 

The Alimbayev family from the village of Kolkamys in the Dzhangeldy district does not hide their emotions. The head of the family expressed gratitude to everyone who did not stand aside and helped his family in difficult times for them. 

"We remained to live in our native village, in a new capital house, - says Alpys Alimbayev. - We could not even dream of this. The flood destroyed our old house to the ground, and it could not be restored. A thousand words would not be enough to express all those feelings of gratitude to everyone, everyone, everyone who did not remain indifferent to our misfortune. It is worth a lot to know that in your country you are under its reliable care and protection."

Despite the remoteness of these villages from the regional center, construction work was completed in record time. For example, the village of Amangeldy is located 420 km from the city of Kostanay, and the village of Kolkamys in the Dzhangeldy district is located 640 km from the regional center. Such distances could have caused serious difficulties with the delivery of building materials and the necessary equipment, but nevertheless, the houses were built and construction was completed long before the onset of autumn cold weather.

"A total of 1,283 houses were damaged during the flood in the Kostanay region, a third of which were beyond repair. To date, 315 apartments have already been purchased, which is 100% of the required number. The construction of 153 new houses for flood victims has been fully completed," Rinat Mukhametkali reported.

It should be noted that the construction of a 50-apartment five-story building in Arkalyk was completed in a short time. The house is not inferior in its characteristics to its metropolitan counterparts of comfort-class housing. The "smart" multi-story building will be equipped with video intercoms, among other things. Although residents are just getting ready to cross the threshold of their new apartments, a pleasant bonus from the developer company is already waiting for them. The construction company installed kitchen units in the apartments at its own expense.

The "Kazakhstan Halkyna" Foundation was created in the country to lend a helping hand in the most difficult moments. Within the framework of the memorandum between the Akimat of Kostanay region and the fund, the construction of 89 individual residential houses for victims was financed in the region.

"Look at these strong, capital houses, built thanks to the coordinated work of the fund, builders, the akimat and local executive bodies," he emphasized. "Today we rejoice together with the new residents. These houses will not only give people a roof over their heads, but will also breathe life into remote villages." - notes Chingiz Sharapiev, a representative of the Kazakhstan Halkyna Public Foundation.

Of course, the general, coordinated work of local executive bodies, the population and all interested structures made it possible to promptly and efficiently fulfill the order of the Head of State to provide housing to those affected by the spring flood.
