President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, at a joint session of the chambers of Parliament, published the Address to the people of Kazakhstan "Fair Kazakhstan: law and order, economic growth, public optimism".

At the beginning of his speech, the head of state noted that the country's Parliament had adopted 102 laws, including laws on public control, combating human trafficking, science and technology policy, thermal power engineering and others. According to him, great attention was paid to social issues, especially the protection of children.

The President reported that many systemic steps had been taken to improve the well-being of the people. He emphasized that we cannot be satisfied with what has been achieved - there is still a lot of work ahead.

- The people of Kazakhstan today live in a completely new political reality. Over the past five years, large-scale reforms have been implemented, the political system has undergone a radical transformation. Fundamental changes are taking place in public consciousness, the level of legal culture of citizens is increasing, new models of behavior are being formed in society and new values ​​are taking root. The renewal of political and social life, mentality and cultural code of the nation has begun. In a word, the construction of a Fair Kazakhstan is underway, and, what is especially important, all this fully corresponds to the aspirations of the people. Therefore, we will continue to steadily follow our strategic course and will not deviate from the intended path, - said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Addressing the people of Kazakhstan, the Head of State put forward a number of initiatives aimed at further socio-economic development of the country, eliminating imbalances between monetary and fiscal policies, improving the investment climate and conditions for doing business, fully realizing industrial potential, solving priority infrastructure problems, increasing the country's human resources potential, implementing comprehensive measures to strengthen the health of the nation and reboot the system of social support for citizens, improving the environmental situation and cultivating a caring attitude to the environment, radically increasing the efficiency of public administration, as well as the comprehensive establishment of the ideology of law and order in society. 

The President named the main tasks of the state as ensuring sustainable socio-economic progress, comprehensively realizing the creative potential of citizens and a real increase in the well-being of the people. 

- We have a clear vision of the long-term prospects for the development of our state. To achieve our lofty goals, we need to maintain unity, show mutual support and respect. Thanks to unity, our people have always overcome various challenges with dignity. This will continue to be the case. Let us together make our Motherland a fair and developed state, where everyone can find their calling and make their dreams come true. We have a common high mission - to build a Fair Kazakhstan for future generations, a state of equal opportunities for everyone. For this, as the Head of State, I will make every effort.I am confident that you will work tirelessly for the sake of the common goal, - emphasized Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
