As part of the 5th World Nomad Games, a ceremonial event "Birlik Kerueni" with a colorful theatrical performance will be held in Astana on September 6, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.

"Birlik Kerueni" is a significant cultural event that is part of the 5th World Nomad Games, which will unite all residents of the republic from 20 regions of Kazakhstan and will become a symbol of the unity and cultural diversity of our country.

On the day of the "Birlik Kerueni" event, a caravan led by representatives of the regions, these are athletes, public figures, heroes of the regions from different regions, will deliver water to Astana from the sacred springs of Kazakhstan.

Water collected in different parts of the country will unite in Taikazan in Astana on the opening day of the Games and will become the main symbol of unity.

Let us recall that water was collected from the sacred spring of each region of the country to fill the torsyk. This water will be the key element of the Opening Ceremony of the World Nomad Games.

The source of the Yesil River was chosen for the water collection procedure in Astana. The Yesil is the main waterway of the capital. The river flows through almost the entire city and is one of the attractions of the capital.

It should be noted that on the opening day of the Games, a caravan of batyrs from different regions with torsyks filled with sacred water will proceed in a colorful procession to the site of the opening ceremony of the Games.

The caravan, decorated in the traditions and style of the region, will include, in addition to the vessel with water, creative groups that will take part in the cultural program of the Games.On the day of Birlik Keruyeni, the concert program will be presented by such groups as the Royal Beats drum ensemble, the Zhoshy group, and other artists of Kazakhstan. The performers include stars of the Kazakh stage: ARO, Kuandyk Rakhym, Marzhan Arapbayeva, Gazikhan Shekerbek, Akbota Kerimbekova, Ayree, Miras Zhugunusov.

The official start of the event is on September 6 at 17:00 on the territory of the EXPO (a DJ will play from 16:00, and quizzes for participants will also be held).

In connection with Birlik Keruyeni, from 13:00 to 21:00, a temporary closure of part of the roads near the EXPO on Turkestan and Akmeshit streets is planned.
