Entrepreneurs - compatriots from abroad and Kazakhstan will gather in Almaty for the Otandastar business forum.

On September 13, 2024, Almaty will host the Otandastar business forum, aimed at strengthening business ties between businessmen-compatriots from abroad and Kazakhstan, organized by the Non-Commercial Joint-Stock Company "Otandastar Qory" under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event will be attended by about 200 people, including more than 50 entrepreneurs from among ethnic Kazakhs and former compatriots from 12 countries.

Venue: Hotel "Kazakhstan", hall "Grand Ballroom".

Number of participants: about 200 

Participating countries: USA, Austria, Japan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, China, Malaysia, Mongolia, South Korea, Uzbekistan, Russia, Turkey.

The main goal of the forum is to actively involve ethnic Kazakhs abroad and former compatriots in the economic development of Kazakhstan and establish close ties with them. It is planned to familiarize with the economic programs and investment opportunities of Kazakhstan, as well as provide legislative support to foreign entrepreneurs.

Forum objectives:

- Presentation of the investment and economic potential of Kazakhstan;

- Support for compatriot entrepreneurs from abroad in developing business in Kazakhstan;

- Exchange of experience between participants and identification of new areas of cooperation.

Within the framework of the forum, it is planned to create a "Council of Compatriot Entrepreneurs Abroad and in Kazakhstan".

The purpose of the Council:

- Support of initiatives aimed at increasing the business activity of entrepreneurs - compatriots abroad and in Kazakhstan.

- Influence on the preservation of cultural, humanitarian and spiritual values ​​of ethnic Kazakhs abroad.

- Support of projects of ethnic Kazakhs and compatriots abroad received by the Otandastar Qory.
