Preliminary results of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the Organization of Turkic States were discussed

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu received Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTG) Kubanychbek Omuraliev.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the preliminary results of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OTG under the motto "TURKTIME!", as well as the process of preparation for the next summit of the Organization in Kyrgyzstan.

The Minister noted that Kazakhstan, as the initiator of the creation of the Organization, attaches particular importance to the further development and strengthening of Turkic integration. He also emphasized that the concept of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OTG is aimed at improving the well-being of the Turkic peoples, identifying new areas of development, strengthening fraternal ties and ensuring stability in the region.

In turn, the Secretary General reported that within the framework of Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OTG, more than 80 events were held in 30 different areas of cooperation. The main event was the holding of the 5th World Nomad Games in Astana. Having highly appreciated the organization of the Games, K. Omuraliev noted that the wide representation of states at the Games indicates the growing interest in the Turkic nomadic culture.

The parties also exchanged views on current issues of Turkic cooperation, and discussed the further development of cooperation between the member states of the Organization.
