By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a number of athletes and their coaches were awarded state awards for their high sporting achievements at the XVII Summer Paralympic Games held in Paris.

In particular, gold medal winner David Mamievich Degtyarev was awarded the Order of Barys, 1st degree. Nauatbek Akmaral Maratkyzy, who also rose to the top step of the podium, was awarded the Order of Barys, 3rd degree. Silver medalists Gabbasov Erkin Tleugabylovich, Zhumagali Nurdaulet Maksutovich and Shamei Yergali became cavaliers of the Order of Parasat. The Order of Kurmet was awarded to the bronze medalists of the Paralympic Games Mukashbekov Dastan Muratovich, Raifova Zarina Raifovna, Fedosova Dayana Vladimirovna and Shukurbekov Zhurkamyrza Bakytuly.

The head coaches of the national team and personal coaches of the athletes were also awarded high awards. 5 coaches were awarded the Order of Parasat, 7 - the Order of Kurmet. 2 coaches were awarded the Certificate of Honor of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
