The competition "Erlik pen enbek dastany" has started, designed to support talented authors and reveal the importance of labor professions in society. This was reported by the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva.

The main goal of the competition is to popularize the work of specialists who have contributed to the development of the country through professionalism and selfless work. The works of teachers, doctors, miners, farmers, builders, journalists, musicians, librarians and many others will be promoted through the works of young writers.

This competition requires not only the disclosure of the specifics of the profession, but also the artistic reflection of the inner soul of the heroes, their dreams and the difficulties they face in everyday life. The competition allows young authors to create new images, revealing the spirit of working people, their unique qualities.

"The winner will be announced next year, 2025, on Republic Day. And the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan will ensure the publication and distribution of the best book throughout the country," Aida Balayeva wrote on her Facebook page.

Applications will be accepted starting October 1 of this year.
