A meeting took place at the Ministry of Transport between Minister Marat Karabayev and Christopher Duggan, Ambassador of Canada to Kazakhstan.

During the negotiations, both sides discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Canada, with a particular focus on developing collaboration in the aviation sector.

Key topics included expanding air transport partnerships, implementing modern technologies, and enhancing aviation safety standards.

Additionally, the parties explored cooperation with DeHavilland regarding the acquisition of aircraft to support the development of Kazakhstan’s regional aviation.

As a result of the meeting, both sides agreed to maintain communication for further discussions on joint initiatives and defining the next steps.
