03 October, 2024

The parties discussed aspects of cooperation in various areas. Particular attention was paid to strengthening joint work in the field of religious education and expanding cooperation between universities of both countries.

Aida Balayeva noted that the relations between the two states are linked by strong fraternal ties based on common traditions and values. The Minister emphasized that within the framework of cooperation between the states, work is being carried out aimed not only at promoting common spiritual and cultural values, but also at forming spiritual and cultural value guidelines, since any religion promotes kindness, mercy, mutual respect and love for others.

“In the modern world, it is important to pay attention to explaining religious issues, especially in the context of working among the younger generation. In the context of increasing destructive information in social media, it is necessary to be able to distinguish useful and true intentions from false ones. We must make joint efforts to provide young people with reliable and high-quality information,” the Minister concluded.

Ali Erbaş expressed confidence that such meetings give momentum to the development of bilateral relations. He emphasized that the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs actively cooperates with Kazakhstan, focusing on the education and development of students, as well as their integration into society.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their intention to continue fruitful work aimed at promoting spiritual and cultural values.
