On October 2, the opening ceremony of the Enactus World Cup 2024 took place in Astana.

The Enactus World Cup is the most important event of the year for thousands of students from all over the world. The development of student entrepreneurship will allow active involvement of young people in socio-economic life and will open the way for small and medium businesses.

The opening of the ceremonial event was attended by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, who conveyed the welcoming words of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokaev.

The Enactus World Cup is an event that brings together thousands of students, entrepreneurs, academic leaders and corporate business executives from 33 countries. The guests first visited the cultural fair of more than 3,000 participants from 33 countries: the USA, Canada, Poland, Italy, Germany, Portugal, South Korea, India, Brazil. National dishes at the fair, organized by the team of Zhetysu students "ENACTUS KAZAKHSTAN", were interesting to foreign guests.

At the end of the event, the Chairman of the Board - Rector of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov Ermek Buribayev expressed support for the university students who raised the blue flag of the country and wished them good luck in the competition.
