The opening of the personal exhibition "My World - My Creation" by the sculptor, blacksmith, and jeweler Yestai Daubaev took place at the Abylkhan Kasteyev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The exhibition presents about 200 works by the author, including traditional weapons, women's jewelry, wedding headdresses, sculptural and jewelry compositions, and panels. Among the key works are "Kultegin", "Crown", "Banner with a Wolf's Head", "Golden Bird", "Samruk", "Falcon", "Baiterek", "Staff" and "Saukele".
The composition "Borili Bayrak", embodying the symbol of the Turkic world - "Kok Bori", deserves special attention. Also unique are the author's versions of saukele - a Kazakh wedding headdress decorated in the Saka animal style.
During the event, a presentation of the author's sculptural composition "Kultegin: sculpture, crown, helmet" and the books "Artistic metalworking" and "Works of carpentry and jewelry art: the path of creation and practical significance" took place.
The exhibition will last until October 29, 2024.
