Kazakhstan has direct flights to 32 countries around the world

As part of the strategy to improve international transport accessibility, Kazakhstan is significantly expanding the geography of international flights, which will increase the mobility of citizens and improve trade and economic cooperation with foreign countries.

Today, Kazakhstan has direct flights to 32 countries of the world - Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Great Britain, Vietnam, Germany, Georgia, Egypt, India, Iran, Italy, Qatar, China, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Czech Republic, Mongolia, Netherlands, UAE, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan, South Korea, Maldives, Bahrain, Montenegro, Greece.

The number of international destinations from Kazakhstan is over 132 air routes, 778 flights are carried out per week by both Kazakhstani and foreign airlines.

The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan is constantly negotiating the expansion of cooperation with the aviation authorities of foreign countries, which will further increase the number of available destinations.

This year, new air routes were opened from Almaty to the cities of Mumbai, Beijing, Kuala Lumpur, Irkutsk, El Alaimen, also Aktobe-Sharm el-Sheikh, including one of the largest low-cost airlines in Southeast Asia, the Malaysian airline Air Asia X, entered the Kazakhstan market, regular flights from Astana to Dushanbe, Prague, Seoul, Aktau-Mineralnye Vody were resumed, and the Chinese airline China Southern Airlines increased the number of flights on the Almaty-Urumqi route.
