Judo: At the prestigious Grand Slam tournament in Abu Dhabi (UAE), the Kazakh team won three bronze medals. Dauren Suyukenov (60 kg) in the men's category, as well as Abiba Abuzhakinova (48 kg) and Nazgul Maratova (+78 kg) among women, entered the top three.
Rowing: In Samarkand (Uzbekistan), at the Asian Rowing Championships, athletes of the Kazakh team won 8 medals: 2 silver and 6 bronze.
Rock Climbing: At the Asian Championships in the Chinese city of Tai'an, Amir Maimuratov and Tamara Olzhabayeva won silver medals.
Tennis: At the Shymkent Open ITF Juniors tournament in Shymkent, Zangar Nurlanuly, ranked 149th in the world rankings, became the winner, defeating the Serbian athlete Nikola Jovic (95 ITF Juniors) in the final with a score of 7:5, 6:1. This is Zangar’s fourth title in ITF Juniors tournaments in singles.
Tennis (doubles): The first racket of Kazakhstan and 31st in the world rankings Anna Danilina became the champion of the WTA 1000 tournament in Wuhan (China), playing in a pair with Irina Khromacheva from Russia. In the final, they beat the American duo Jessica Pegula and Aisha Muhammad with a score of 6:3, 7:6 (8:6).
Grappling: Athletes of the Kazakhstan national team won 1 gold, 4 silver, 5 bronze medals in 13 disciplines of the World Grappling Championship in Astana.
Karate: At the WKF World Karate Championship among juniors and youth (U21) in Venice-Jesolo, Italy, athletes of the Kazakhstan national team won 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals.
Judo: At the Open Asian Judo Cup, held in the sports complex "Halyk Arena" in Aktau, the Kazakhstan national team won 12 gold, 11 silver, 21 bronze medals.
