Eurasian Netherlands Business School Opens at ENU

The Eurasian National University hosted the grand opening of the Eurasian Netherlands Business School (ENBS), a new educational project created by ENU in partnership with the Netherlands Business Academy.

The Eurasian Netherlands Business School aims to train highly qualified specialists in the fields of management, business and entrepreneurship by providing training in MBA, EMBA and other courses focused on developing professional skills. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of business, diplomatic missions, international companies and government agencies.

“This event is the next stage in the development of our university. To help businesses and train a new generation of managers, we are opening this business school together with the Netherlands Business Academy. The opening of the school will be a significant step in the development of business education in Kazakhstan, introducing advanced European methods and approaches to training professionals,” said ENU Rector Erlan Sydykov.
President of the Netherlands Business Academy Jan van Zwieten said that today the academy has 8 business schools around the world and all of them are interconnected.

"I am pleased to announce that Kazakhstan has joined the group of 8 universities for which participation in international exchange and internship programs has become possible. Students from the business academy can choose several topics in all schools. Even Oxford is involved in this process. We are going to connect all the programs in this business school.We will also bring here all our experience gained in partnership with large business companies. I think the Eurasian National University made a wise decision by taking the first step,” the foreign guest noted.

The event also featured a speech by the Deputy Head of the Diplomatic Mission of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kazakhstan, Naut van Woudenberg, who spoke about diplomatic, trade, economic, and socio-cultural relations between Kazakhstan and the Netherlands. Member of the Association of Business Women of Kazakhstan, CEO of the Romantic flower shop chain, Gulzat Izbasarova, spoke about the activities and achievements of women in business. The speech by the Technical Director of Qaz Cloud, Alexander Perepelov, was devoted to cybersecurity issues.

It is worth noting that the Netherlands Business Academy is a fully accredited business school founded in 1982. The school actively participates in European Union projects and cooperates with more than 40 universities around the world. The Academy actively promotes the idea of ​​continuous education, making advanced knowledge available to the business community.
