The international conference "CONNECTED 2024" has started its work in Astana. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tamara Duisenova spoke at the grand opening of the event and delivered a welcoming message on behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. 

The head of state noted that "CONNECTED 2024" is a unique project aimed at discussing creative ideas, predicting the future, and exchanging advanced knowledge and experience. 

"Kazakhstan, in cooperation with leading foreign universities, is actively working to create an academic hub. We are forming a solid foundation for increasing the scientific and innovative potential of the country, and the conference "CONNECTED 2024" will give impetus to achieving this goal. I am confident that today's event will contribute to strengthening international ties between scientists and experts, as well as developing new approaches to the development of education and human capital," the Head of State said in his greeting. 

The two-day event is attended by about 1,500 delegates from more than 20 countries, as well as over 100 renowned scientists and representatives of the world's leading universities. The conference will present and discuss solutions for the development of education and science. 

Tamara Duysenova reported that, on the instructions of the Head of State, 23 leading world universities have already begun their work in Kazakhstan. The Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude to strategic partners on behalf of the Government and spoke about the key goals of this step. 

"Firstly, the training of highly qualified personnel who have mastered educational programs in accordance with international standards and are in demand in the labor market. Secondly, the transfer of advanced educational programs and teaching technologies. Thirdly, the goal of developing science and innovation has been set. As the saying goes, "Together any burden is lighter." I believe that through effective cooperation we will jointly achieve our goals," said Tamara Duysenova.
