In 2023, Almaty resident Nurlan Biimbet won the "Tauyelsizdik Urpaktary" grant in the "Information Technology" field. Thanks to state support, he was able to implement his IT project, which is aimed at improving the quality of life of patients and reducing healthcare costs.
This is the qMed platform for patients registered with a dispensary with diagnoses such as chronic heart failure, arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus. Twice a day, they take a survey in their personal account, based on the results of which the program determines their health status. If the deviation from the norm is insignificant, the patient receives online recommendations. If there are risks, a notification about this is sent to the local doctor.
This algorithm was developed within the framework of the concept of the Ministry of Health. The project is already being successfully implemented in two medical institutions of Almaty. Recently, it was supported in one of the clinics in Astana. In total, over 1,000 patients use the platform.
Nurlan Biymbet plans to expand the geography of users and the functionality of the platform. The services of specialized doctors, a psychologist, a social worker, as well as a healthy nutrition school will be available.
Let us remind you that the grant "Tauelsizdik Urpaktary" has been awarded by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan since 2021 on the initiative of the Head of State for the purpose of state support for talented youth.
