With the support of the Ministry of Education and the International Union of Aitys and Zhyrshy-Termeshi, the Republican Aitys of Young Akyns among schoolchildren "Kola Dombyra - 2024" was held. It was attended by 22 young poets aged 12 to 18 from 20 regions of the country.

Addressing the participants, the Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev noted that aitys is not only the heritage of the people, but also a means of moral education of conscious and creative citizens based on universal and national values.

"In order to achieve one of the important goals voiced by the Head of State at a meeting of the National Kurultai "Adiletti Kazakhstan - Adal Azamat", the Ministry is taking a number of measures within the framework of "Birtutas terbiye bagdarlamasy", which is based on the main principles of universal values, patriotism and hard work. Aitys is an important platform for developing the creative and spiritual-cultural potential of the younger generation and improving the system of aesthetic education,” Gani Beisembayev emphasized.

It should be noted that aitys sums up the results of the first quarter of the national cultural and educational project “Torta toksan — tort oner” within the framework of “Birtutas terbiye bagdarlamasy”.

According to the results of aitys, Islam Ali Birzhanuly (Shymkent) became the winner of the Grand Prix and the title “Kola dombyra”.
Beibit Bayzhigit (Mangistau region) took the first place.

Aray Nuradin (Aktobe region) and Aiganym Maksutkhanova (Astana) shared the second place.

The third place was distributed between Rauan Nurshabekov (Almaty region), Nurislam Rogatov (Kostanay region) and Yerasyl Seitzhan (Almaty city).

All participants were awarded letters of gratitude and cash prizes, and the akyns' mentors were awarded letters of gratitude from the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Young poets were also awarded special prizes, and the winner received an educational grant at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
