Students made a portrait of Saken Seifullin from scraps

Teachers and students of the Saken Seifullin School-Gymnasium No. 80 in Astana created a patchwork canvas 6 meters high and 4.5 meters wide with an image of the great Kazakh poet and writer, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.

The large handmade canvas depicts Saken Seifullin. It took a month and a half to create the work. The craftsmen used 2,700 square patches. This impressive work won the sympathy of the public and became one of the valuable attractions of the school.

It should be noted that the teachers and students dedicated this work to the 130th anniversary of Saken Seifullin.
