Famous artists gathered on the stage of the Astana Opera Theatre to congratulate the legendary singer Bibigul Tulegenova on her 95th birthday.

The concert, organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, brought together many famous artists, including Shakhimardan Abilov, Aigul Ulkenbaeva, Alfiya Karimova, as well as Zarina Altynbaeva, Tolkyn Zabirova, Samal Baiseitova, Aizada Omarova and Nurgalym Amanbay.

The evening began with the bright scene "Toibastar" from the opera "Abai" by Akhmet Zhubanov and Latif Hamidi. The laureates of the B. Tulegenova competition Rasul Zharmagambetov and Tatyana Vitsinskaya, the choir, orchestra and ballet troupe of the Astana Opera under the direction of the conductor, the Knight of the Order of Kurmet Ruslan Baimurzin set a festive tone for the entire concert.

Its highlight was the poem "Bibigul - an" by Fariza Ongarsynova, read by the Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Nurlan Onerbayev. And the famous song "Bulbul" by Latif Hamidi, which has long become an unofficial symbol of B. Tulegenova's work, performed by her student, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Tolkyn Zabirova, was perceived by everyone as a declaration of love from the entire nation.

A special gift was presented by the Astana Ballet troupe, which performed the Kazakh dance Ata Tolgauy. The audience also warmly received a potpourri of Kazakh song themes performed by the Forte Trio instrumental ensemble.
