On February 4, as part of the state visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Pakistan, an official opening ceremony was held in Islamabad for several Kazakhstani educational and scientific centers established at leading Pakistani higher education institutions. The ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, and the Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training of Pakistan, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.

The Al-Farabi Center of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has been established at Quaid-i-Azam University. This center, which traces its origins back to 1993, has been dedicated to Farabi studies and the promotion of Kazakh and Eastern philosophy globally for over 30 years. To ensure its full functionality, the center has been equipped with the necessary material and technical infrastructure, including fully furnished academic and research auditoriums, computer labs, and office spaces. The center will organize Kazakh language courses for foreign citizens, alongside cultural and educational events, seminars, and scientific conferences focused on Kazakhstan's cultural heritage. Furthermore, it will strengthen partnerships with leading educational and scientific organizations in partner countries.

The Kanysh Satbayev Scientific and Educational Center of the Satbayev Kazakh National Research Technical University has opened at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST). Dedicated to the eminent Kazakh geologist and academician Kanysh Satbayev, this center will serve as a platform for joint scientific and educational projects, faculty and student exchanges, and the promotion of Kazakhstani science. The Satbayev Center is designed as a modern collaborative space, allowing students and researchers to exchange ideas, participate in international scientific initiatives, and access the PolytechOnline platform along with advanced engineering courses.

Additionally, the Khoja Ahmed Yasawi Research Centre for the Study of Islamic Culture and Civilisation in Central Asia has been established at the Islamic Research Institute of the International Islamic University, Islamabad. This centre is envisioned as an intellectual platform for joint research, scientific discussions, and the development of academic dialogue in Islamic and regional studies. In the near future, the parties plan to organise research visits for Kazakhstani scientists to Pakistan, host lectures by Pakistani specialists in Turkistan, and facilitate joint research and academic exchange.
