The anniversary concert dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the legendary vocal and instrumental ensemble "Yashlyk" was held in Almaty.

The concert, organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took place over two days, November 22 and 23.

The ensemble "Yashlyk" was founded in 1974. The group has repeatedly become a laureate of international competitions.

The legendary ensemble "Dos-Mukasan", People's Artist of Kazakhstan Roza Rymbayeva, Honored Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dilnaz Akhmadiyeva and Alisher Karimov, singer and composer Parviz Nazarov, as well as the current line-up of the group "Yashlyk" and stars of the Kazakh and Uyghur stage took part in the event.

The concert featured the ensemble's hits from the 70s and 80s and modern arrangements of famous compositions.

On behalf of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the creative team was presented with a basket of flowers as a sign of respect and recognition.

The Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva congratulated the team of the Yashlyk group on their anniversary, noting that during its existence the ensemble has made a colossal contribution to the development of the musical culture of Kazakhstan.
