The application process for higher education institutions in China has officially commenced. According to the Center for International Programs, the People’s Republic of China (PRC) is offering 73 educational grants.
The program is implemented under a bilateral agreement signed between the two nations in 2003. For the 2026–2027 academic year, these 73 state-funded scholarships are available for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degree programs.
Selected candidates will receive full tuition waivers and a monthly stipend. The grant also covers medical insurance and provides on-campus accommodation. All other expenses must be covered by the recipient.
To participate in the selection process, candidates must complete online registration via the China Scholarship Council (CSC) website.
Notably, starting in 2026, all international applicants pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese universities are required to pass the Chinese Standardized College Admissions (CSCA) test. Providing CSCA results is not mandatory during the initial application phase; the test is administered following the successful completion of the competitive selection process.
Applications are being accepted from January 21 to February 10, 2026, via the E-Government portal or through the Center for International Programs JSC.
Previously, Kazakhstan and Hungary launched a joint dual-degree Master’s program with a strategic focus on water diplomacy.
