The 25th Winter Olympic Games are scheduled to take place from February 6 to 22, 2026, in the Italian cities of Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo.
The premier sporting event of the quadrennium will be broadcast live on the national television channels Qazaqstan, Qazsport, Khabar, and Jibek Joly.
The "White Games" will feature 116 medal sets contested across eight sports. To date, Kazakhstan has secured Olympic quotas in three disciplines: short-track speed skating, speed skating, and figure skating.
For the first time in history, the Winter Games will be hosted by two cities. Italy is expected to welcome 3,000 athletes representing approximately 100 nations.
The Opening Ceremony will be held on February 6. This event, along with the full competition schedule, will be aired live on Qazaqstan, Qazsport, Khabar, and Jibek Joly.
Throughout the Games, on-site film crews will provide exclusive news coverage directly from the venues. Qazaqstan and Qazsport will air daily "Olympic Diaries," while Qazsport will feature a live studio program titled "Milan – Cortina 2026."
