The Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan has prepared the 2026 Event Calendar, featuring 55 major cultural and tourism events across all regions of the country.

The calendar is designed to stimulate domestic tourism, expand travel routes, and promote regional brands. It encompasses cultural, ethnocultural, sporting, gastronomic, and ecological events, allowing tourists to tailor individual itineraries based on personal interests and seasonal factors.

A significant portion of these activities are recurring annual events, fostering sustained interest in the regions and ensuring continuity in the national event agenda. Notably, a substantial share of these projects is implemented through private-sector partnerships and sponsorship, aligning with the strategic approach to develop event tourism without increasing the fiscal burden on the state budget.

To enhance the tourist experience, an interactive web version of the calendar has been developed and is accessible at https://event.qaztourism.kz/. The platform enables users to efficiently filter events by date, region, thematic category, and scale.

The establishment of the 2026 Event Calendar is a key step in fulfilling the directives issued by the Head of State during the National Kurultai meeting on March 14, 2025. This initiative is aimed at the systematic development of event tourism, strengthening regional tourism identity, creating streamlined digital solutions, and enhancing the overall attractiveness of travel within Kazakhstan.
