The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan has developed a draft order of the head of the Ministry titled “On Establishing the Regional Quota for the Admission of Kandas and Migrants for 2026.” Information about the document has been published on the “Open NPA” portal.

The draft order provides for the establishment of a regional quota for the admission of kandas and migrants to ensure optimal settlement in accordance with proposals from local executive bodies, taking into account demographic conditions and the regions’ need for labour resources.

Information regarding the draft order has been posted for public discussion on the “Open NPA” online portal until 9 December 2025.
