KAZINFORM - The Otandastar Foundation and Rossotrudnichestvo are negotiating a memorandum of cooperation. This was stated by the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at a briefing held in Akorda on the occasion of the completion of negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"An important factor uniting our peoples is the Russian language. I would like to note that a third of all students in Kazakhstan are taught in Russian. In Kazakhstan, we attach great importance to this issue. Therefore, I proposed to create an international organization in Russian," the President said.
The head of state said that another pressing topic of the negotiations is support for compatriots living in Kazakhstan and Russia.

"At the same time, the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Otandastar Foundation and Rossotrudnichestvo would be of great importance. Negotiations on this topic are underway. "Such agreements play a special role in strengthening mutual understanding between our peoples and find a positive attitude in society as a whole," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
