A performance by the First Violinist of the Astana Opera Orchestra, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Bagdat Abilkhanov, took place in the Italian city of Camogli. The concert, held at the Teatro Sociale di Camogli, drew great interest from the Italian audience.
Accompanied by the orchestra of the Carlo Felice Theatre of Genoa under the baton of Maestro Giuseppe Acquaviva, the Kazakh musician performed one of the most celebrated works of German Romanticism — Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Op. 26 by Max Bruch.
Bagdat Abilkhanov noted that performing in Italy was an important milestone in his artistic career and a valuable opportunity to present the Kazakh school of performance on the international stage. He expressed his gratitude to Maestro Acquaviva and the Carlo Felice Theatre Orchestra for their professionalism and support.
Bagdat Abilkhanov’s performance became a vivid example of the international recognition of Kazakh musicians and contributed to strengthening cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Italy.
