31 October 2025

Popular Chinese television network Hunan TV has unveiled a promotional video for its upcoming show Voice Beyond Horizon, filmed across Kazakhstan’s most remarkable tourist destinations. The program will showcase the country’s tourism potential to a multi-million-strong audience.

The project was initiated by Dimash Kudaibergen in collaboration with Hunan Broadcasting System. In September this year, the film crew and participants traveled more than 7,436 kilometers across Kazakhstan’s regions. Over the course of 22 days, they explored the country’s rich natural and cultural heritage.

Artists from Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Italy, Malaysia, and Serbia took part in the filming. The project’s route covered key tourist attractions, including the ancient city of Turkistan — the spiritual center of the Great Silk Road, the majestic landscapes of Bozjyra and the Caspian Sea coast in the Mangystau Region, the natural gems of the Almaty Region such as Lake Kaindy, the tourist village of Saty, the Kapshagai Reservoir, as well as the natural landmarks of the Akmola Region — Lake Kobeytuz and the Shchuchinsk-Burabay resort area.

The broadcast of Voice Beyond Horizon is scheduled for next year.

The project received organisational support from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the national company Kazakh Tourism, and regional akimats.
