Astana, October 24, 2025 – A solemn meeting dedicated to the Republic Day was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the event, the Head of the Ministry, Yeremek Kosherbayev, congratulated the staff of the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan abroad on the national holiday, emphasizing its exceptional importance for the diplomatic service.

In his speech, the Head of the foreign policy agency noted that the Declaration on State Sovereignty, adopted on October 25, 1990, became the foundation for the formation of independent Kazakhstan. According to him, Republic Day is an important holiday that symbolizes the continuity of reforms, the path of sustainable development and modernization of our country, as well as Kazakhstan's openness to the world.

"This year, Kazakhstan has continued to pursue an active foreign policy, strengthen strategic partnerships, and implement the initiatives of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to ensure regional stability, expand economic ties, and promote a dialogue of global trust. These tasks are at the heart of our diplomatic service," said Y. Kosherbayev.

On the occasion of Republic Day, a number of employees of the ministry and Kazakhstan's foreign missions, as well as veterans of the diplomatic service, were presented with state and departmental awards, as well as letters of gratitude on behalf of the Head of State. In this regard, Mukash Yerzhan, a representative of the Otandastar Qory, was awarded the Nazir Torekulov Medal for his contribution to the foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
