Kazakhstan’s swimming team member Adilbek Musin claimed victory at the Asian Championships held in Ahmedabad, India, olympic.kz reports.

Musin secured the gold medal in the men’s 50m butterfly, finishing with a time of 23.74 seconds. His teammate Maxim Skazobtsov took third place in the decisive race with a result of 23.90 seconds.

In the women’s 50m butterfly event, Sofia Abubakirova earned the silver medal, while Sofya Spodarenko finished third.
