On the threshold of New Year holidays and winter vacations we remind you about the activities carried out to protect Kazakhstani tourists abroad.

Since 2016, Kazakhstan has been operating the System of guaranteeing the rights of citizens of Kazakhstan in the field of outbound tourism, its administrator is the fund “Touristik Kamkor”. Participants of the system are tour operators of outbound tourism, which are obliged to issue each tourist a tour code.

🔷 Tour code is a unique alphanumeric value, having checked which the tourist can be sure that his flight and accommodation have been paid by the tour operator to the receiving party and the airline. This unique mechanism guarantees tourists their return to the country if the tour operator, who formed the tour, cannot fulfill its obligations or in case of emergency/emergency. It can be checked on the Administrator's website or in the mobile application “Turcod”. The application also provides a list of travel agencies to choose from, information about the country of stay, contact details of embassies and consulates of Kazakhstan.

🔻 In addition, only the tourist who purchased a tour, formed by a tour operator and realized by a travel agent can get a tour code. When choosing an agency, be sure to check whether they issue a tour code. Sign a contract on tourist services and ask for documents (cash voucher confirming payment, voucher, insurance policy, etc.).
