New York, September 20, 2025 – Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on key international agenda issues and the current state of Kazakh-Ukrainian cooperation.

Minister Nurtleu reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s interest in the prompt resolution of the situation in Ukraine and the achievement of sustainable peace in the country.

It was particularly emphasised that Astana has consistently supported and continues to advocate for the settlement of the conflict through political and diplomatic means, in accordance with the UN Charter and the fundamental principles of international law.
