Welcoming the President of the European Council, António Costa, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasised that Kazakhstan remains firmly committed to further strengthening its partnership with the European Union both on a bilateral basis and within the C5+ format dialogue.

During the conversation, the parties noted the dynamic development of the political dialogue, which contributes to the promotion of trade, economic, investment, and cultural and humanitarian ties between Kazakhstan and the European Union.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on pressing issues of the international and regional agenda.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to maintain contacts with a view to expanding mutually beneficial interregional cooperation.
