The national team of Kazakhstan won a bronze medal at the World Archery Championships, held in Gwangju, South Korea.

In the team compound bow event, Adel Zhexenbinova, Viktoria Lyan, and Roxana Yunusova defeated the team of Great Britain with a score of 232:228 in the match for the bronze medal.

It should be noted that prior to this achievement, Kazakhstan’s archers had only one World Championship medal, won in 1993 by Yana Tuniyants in recurve archery.
