The Khan Tengri Innovation Hub Opens in Zhangjiang Science and Technology Park, Known as the “Asian Silicon Valley”

The Khan Tengri Innovation Hub—the first dedicated platform designed to integrate the technological potential of Central Eurasian countries with China’s ecosystem, the world’s second-largest economy—was officially launched in Zhangjiang Science and Technology Park, widely recognized as the “Asian Silicon Valley.”

The initiative was spearheaded by the Kazakhstani company Growth Vision Pro, with support from the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as leading regional technology parks Astana Hub (Kazakhstan) and IT Park Uzbekistan.

The Khan Tengri Innovation Hub is envisioned as a next-generation technological diplomacy platform, bridging startups, innovative companies, and R&D centers across Central Eurasia with China’s market and its global opportunities. This initiative reflects the growing demand for sustainable technological cooperation between the regions.

Key Objectives of the Hub

1. Promote cross-border technology transfer in digitalization, high-tech, and R&D;

2. Support the entry of Central Asian IT companies and startups into the Chinese market;

3. Facilitate the “soft landing” of Chinese technology companies into Eurasian markets and subsequently into Europe and MENA via the “Middle Corridor”;

4. Create conditions for joint R&D projects, technology transfer, and venture capital attraction;

5. Increase the visibility of Central Eurasian countries in China.

The Khan Tengri Innovation Hub will serve as a platform where companies from Kazakhstan and Central Asia can confidently start and grow their business in China. It is designed to eliminate major barriers to entering one of the world’s most complex and competitive markets—thus making global opportunities accessible for Eurasian startups and IT companies.

The Hub offers everything needed for work and life within one of China’s leading high-tech parks: modern offices, coworking spaces, and serviced apartments, enabling participants to focus on product development without being distracted by operational or everyday concerns.

Most importantly, the Hub provides end-to-end support—from legal and tax advisory services to assistance in establishing connections with Chinese investors, manufacturing partners, and accelerators. This approach is commonly referred to as soft landing—a “smooth entry” into an unfamiliar business environment.

In addition to infrastructure, the Hub provides access to educational and acceleration programs designed to help companies adapt and scale faster. In partnership with the Chinese accelerator XNode, a range of programs has been developed to accommodate different levels of business readiness: from the short China Market Entry Bootcamp, which focuses on market research and entry strategies, to the China Launchpad, which supports companies in launching and expanding their presence in China. Participants benefit from mentorship, workshops, business meetings, and first-hand insights into China’s technological ecosystem.
