An official meeting was held at the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan between Minister Zhaslan Madiyev and a delegation from the Hungarian technology holding 4iG Group, one of Eastern Europe’s leading companies in information, telecommunications, and defense-related digital technologies.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation in satellite development, Earth remote sensing data exchange, ground infrastructure advancement, personnel training, and the implementation of joint innovation projects.
Following the negotiations, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between JSC “National Company Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary” and 4iG Space and Defence Technologies Private Limited Company, a subsidiary of 4iG Group. The document provides for the establishment of a joint working group and outlines cooperation in satellite technologies, data exchange, ground infrastructure, and human resource development.
As part of the visit, the 4iG Group delegation also toured the National Space Center, where they were introduced to the activities of JSC “National Company Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary,” LLP “Ghalam,” and the Assembly, Integration and Testing Complex (AITC) for spacecraft.
In addition, the guests were presented with the work of the National Center for Space Research and Technology (NCSRT), including scientific developments in the field of space research.
At the conclusion of the visit, representatives of 4iG Group were invited to participate in the international forum SPACE DAYS KAZAKHSTAN 2025, which will take place on September 8–9, 2025, in Almaty and will bring together leading experts, agencies, and companies from around the world.
