The Ministry of Tourism and Sports is systematically implementing 7 government support measures. These measures are aimed at improving the quality of tourism products, and the development of domestic and inbound tourism.

✔️ Partial reimbursement of costs for purchasing equipment and machinery for ski resorts

The state reimburses 25% of the costs for purchasing ski lifts, snow removal machinery, and equipment for artificial snowmaking.

✔️ Reimbursement of costs for constructing roadside service facilities

10% of the costs for building motels, gas stations, food establishments, pharmacies, and other service facilities are compensated from the state budget.

✔️ Partial reimbursement of costs for the construction and reconstruction of tourism facilities

10% of expenses for constructing or reconstructing facilities necessary for providing tourism services are subsidized.

✔️ Reimbursement of costs for purchasing vehicles for tourism activities

25% of the cost of buses with more than 8 seats (excluding the driver) is reimbursed, provided that the vehicles are used exclusively for tourism purposes for at least 5 years.

✔️ Subsidizing costs for tour operators working with inbound tourism

A subsidy of 15,000 tenge is paid for each foreign tourist. The condition is that the tourist stays in the country for at least 4 days and 3 nights, and registers in the eQonaq system.

✔️ Subsidizing the cost of airline tickets for minors (Kids Go Free)

Children under 18 can travel within Kazakhstan for free. To qualify, a tour must be purchased from a tour operator working in domestic tourism. The cost of airline tickets included in the tourist package is subsidized 100%.

✔️ Subsidizing the maintenance of sanitary and hygienic facilities (SHF)

Facilities located in tourist zones, along highways, and in specially protected natural areas receive a monthly subsidy of 83,300 tenge for their maintenance.

These support measures contribute to the increase of domestic tourist flow, the development of tourism products, improvement of infrastructure, and enhancement of service quality.
