In 2024, the Ministry of Culture and Information successfully implemented the Concept of Development of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan for 2022-2026. Within the framework of this work, more than 9 thousand events were held, covering more than 700 thousand people.
One of the important events of the year was the XXXIII session of the ANK “Unity. Creation. Progress”, which was held on April 25 under the chairmanship of the Head of State. The event was attended by more than 1500 people, including ANC members, members of Parliament and representatives of ethno-cultural associations.
An important contribution to the information sphere was the creation of 6 documentaries, among which stand out “Otandastar”, “Birlik Besigi” and the program “Shanyrak”.
Also, meetings of the ANC Journalists' Club were held in various cities of Kazakhstan, where the prevention of interethnic conflicts and counteraction to “hate speech” were discussed.
In the educational sphere, the discipline of “Ethno-political literacy” has been introduced in four higher education institutions of the country. Work is under way to increase the number of educational institutions with programs in the disciplines “Ethnopolitology” and “Ethnojournalism”.
The Birlik International Camp and Language School have been organized for the country's young people ANC.
At the same time, the projects “Bir El” and “Road of Peace and Harmony” were realized.
On November 22, Astana hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the cultural and educational project of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan “Myn bala”. The project is aimed at popularizing the Kazakh identity and strengthening the unity of the people by involving pre-school children, schoolchildren and young people of different ethnic groups in the study of the state language, as well as introducing them through creativity to the national and spiritual values of the Kazakh people.
In 2025, the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan will celebrate its 30th anniversary. More than 5 thousand events of various formats are planned.
