A group of 31 people has left for a two-week training course in the People's Republic of China. Previously, two groups of 30 specialists had completed training in the neighbouring country.
This year, a total of 121 Kazakh specialists in the water sector will attend qualification enhancement courses in China. The training is organized at the expense of the Chinese side, and no funds from the state budget of the Republic of Kazakhstan were allocated for the event.
Currently, the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation is in negotiations with Chinese partners regarding the continuation of the joint program for personnel training.
“In April and May of this year, we sent two groups of 30 people to China, and they successfully completed their training. As part of the third group, 31 specialists from the water sector have gone to China for a training course in water resource management and wastewater treatment. These courses are one of the measures under the implementation of the President's Address, which emphasized the need for a systematic approach to training highly qualified personnel in the water sector,” said Aslan Abdraymov, Deputy Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation.
