Dala.edge Creative Technology Park at Energo University has announced a special grant competition for studies at the Kazakhstan campus of the New York Film Academy (NYFA), located in the city of Kaskelen. The initiative targets young individuals with an interest in the creative industries.
The program offers full (100%) and partial (50%) scholarships in the fields of 3D Animation and Visual Effects and Game Design.
To apply, candidates must submit a creative project and complete the NYFA Kazakhstan application process via the official website kaz.nyfa.edu by August 1, 2025. All applicants are automatically entered into the competition upon submission.
The grant program provides a unique opportunity to earn an internationally recognized NYFA diploma without the need to study abroad. Graduates will receive a certificate equivalent to those issued by NYFA campuses in New York and Los Angeles. Courses are taught by faculty members from the United States.
It is worth noting that NYFA’s Kazakhstan campus is the Academy’s only branch in Asia. On March 1, an online signing ceremony marked the official launch of the campus, held with the participation of NYFA President Michael Young. The event took place under the auspices of the Creative Industries Park at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications (Energo University).
Terms of participation and additional information are available on the official competition website:
