The International Scientific Physics Olympiad (ISPhO-2025) has concluded in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia. Based on the results, the national team of Kazakhstan secured 1st place in the overall team ranking, joining the ranks of the global leaders.
Among participants from 21 countries, five young representatives of Kazakhstan returned home with a total of ten awards. The Olympiad consisted of two main stages — theoretical and experimental, with each participant evaluated individually in both categories.
Silver Medalists:
Roman Cheremnov – 11th-grade student at Miras School, Almaty
Tair Abdikadyr – 10th-grade student at the Kostanay Regional “Bilim-Innovation” Lyceum
Altair Akanov – 11th-grade student at the Republican Physics and Mathematics School (RPMS), Astana
Ilyas Kazymbek – 10th-grade student at RPMS, Almaty
Bronze Medalist:
Danial Tyulyubaev – 11th-grade student at “NURORDA” School-Lyceum, Astana
