The Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan is actively working to expand the geography of flights and increase the number of international air routes.
Starting from June 27 of this year, a new air carrier from Kyrgyzstan, Asman Airlines, will enter the Kazakhstani aviation market. The airline will commence direct, scheduled passenger flights on the Almaty – Issyk-Kul route, operating twice a week (on Mondays and Fridays).
In addition, beginning July 3, the Kazakhstani carrier Fly Arystan will also launch a direct flight on the Almaty – Issyk-Kul route, with a frequency of two flights per week (on Thursdays and Sundays).
In total, four regular passenger flights per week will be operated on this route during the current summer season.
The establishment of this air connection is expected to further promote tourism, trade and economic relations, and business cooperation between the two countries.
