The international expedition “Journey to the Heart of Eurasia” has launched its Kazakhstan program in the Aktobe Region.

The expedition aims to promote the country’s historical and cultural heritage as well as its tourism potential at the international level.

On the first day, the expedition participants visited the city of Aktobe, where they became acquainted with the region’s culture and traditions. The delegation also toured a pantotherapy clinic in the Martuk District, learning about its natural therapeutic resources and the potential for wellness tourism.

The official opening ceremony of the Kazakhstan leg of the expedition took place the following day. As part of the program, participants took part in ethnocultural events, explored exhibits in the ethnovillage, and gained insight into the architecture of yurts, traditional rituals, crafts, and local cuisine.

Additionally, a demonstration of the national equestrian game “Kokpar” was organized for the participants, and the cultural program featured a concert hosted by the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.

It is worth noting that the international expedition “Journey to the Heart of Eurasia” began in Moscow. Over the course of two months, the participants will cover more than 8,000 kilometers and visit 30 cities across Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. In Kazakhstan, the route includes major cultural and tourist destinations in the south and west of the country, such as Aral, Baikonur, Kyzylorda, Turkistan, Shymkent, Taraz, and Almaty.
