In light of the sharp deterioration in the military-political situation in the Middle East, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan strongly advises citizens of Kazakhstan to reconsider all previously planned trips to countries in the region.

At present, a comprehensive assessment of the situation and potential risks is being conducted, and coordinated efforts are underway in cooperation with relevant government agencies and international partners.

Several countries in the Middle East have introduced temporary restrictions on the use of their airspace, resulting in the cancellation and rescheduling of international flights.

In this regard, the Ministry recommends that Kazakh citizens currently located in Middle Eastern countries — particularly in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates — adhere to the following guidelines:

• Remain calm and strictly comply with local security measures;

• Avoid participation in mass gatherings and refrain from approaching military facilities;

• Closely monitor information issued by the official authorities of the host country and the diplomatic missions of Kazakhstan;

• Regularly verify the status of booked flights and alternative travel routes;

• Maintain direct contact with the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Kazakhstan via the emergency channels listed below.
