The press service of the capital's akim presented a 10-day event schedule in honor of Nauryz Meiramy celebrations.

"Concerts, campaigns, tournaments: over 200 events will take place in Astana for Nauryz Meiramy," the statement said.

On March 14, the Nauryznama decade dedicated to Nauryz Meiramy celebrations begins in Kazakhstan. During these 10 days, Astana will host more than 200 large-scale events in honor of the holiday – concerts, exhibitions, performances, creative evenings, and much more, according to the official website of the city akimat.

March 14 marks Korisu Kuni. On this day, the historical and educational evening "Kóristim Barsha Qazaqpen" will be held at Library No. 3. The "Uly Elimizdin Kórisu Kuni - Amal Merekesi" event will take place at the House of Friendship. On the same day, the national cultural festival "Caravan of Friendship" will be organized at the M. Utemisov Palace of Schoolchildren, and the theatrical marathon "Nauryz Shashu" will be held at the Al-Farabi Palace of Schoolchildren.

March 15 is dedicated to Charity Day. In honor of this, on March 14 at 11:00, artists from the State Dance Theater "Naz" will perform a charity concert "Nauryz-Duman" at the "Sharapat" Social Service Center. A day later, a festive event will be organized there, along with the launch of the "Good Deeds Marathon" and the "Do Good" campaign. On this day, volunteers will visit the homes of veterans and lonely pensioners, distributing food baskets as part of the "Good Deeds Marathon." Additionally, the "Ghazhaiyp Sandiq" campaign will be held in the capital, where special boxes will be placed in orphanages, nursing homes, and hospitals. Those in need can write down their desired gift (food, clothing, toys, or a book), and these items will be purchased and distributed by sponsors. On March 15, the "Zhanashyrlik Pen Qamqorlyq – Elimizdin Tiregi" charity event will take place at the House of Friendship. A charity concert "Az-Nauryz" will be held at the "Balam-ai" center.

On the same day, the search and experimental theater "Sintez" will perform a charity play for the pupils of the "Baqytty Shanyraq" Foundation.

Starting from March 15, the "Zhil Basy" creative exhibition will be opened at the "Nurlu Zhurek" Social Service Center.

March 16 is Family Day, which promotes the role of family values. At 11:00 near the "Baiterek" monument, a solemn ceremony will take place, where newlyweds will receive marriage certificates, and couples celebrating their golden anniversary will be included in the Book of Anniversaries. Simultaneously, the festival of young writers "Armysyn, Az-Nauryz" will be held at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

At 10:00 AM in the Saryarka district, the "Berekelі Shanyraq" event will celebrate families married for 25-50 years. At the City Perinatal Center, mothers of newborns will be congratulated as part of the "Nauryz Bazarlyq" tradition.

On this day, a sports relay race for young families will be held at the Vocational and Technical College. Participants will compete in national games such as arqan tartu, asyq atu, and togyzqumalaq.

On March 16, the "Nura" Active Longevity Center will host a cultural event for exemplary families who have raised model generations. The older generation will teach children about the unique features of the traditional "bata" blessing and train schoolchildren to deliver poetic blessings.

At 3:00 PM on March 16, the Musical Theater for Young Audiences will host a meeting with creative young families, "Baqytty Shaңyraq Ieleri."

March 17 will be the Day of Culture and National Traditions.

From March 17 to 21, the Paralympic Training Center will host a tournament in national sports dedicated to Nauryz Meiramy (togyzqumalaq, asyq atu, tug-of-war, and arm wrestling).

March 18 is National Clothing Day. From March 15 to 18, the "Ulyttik Kiim – Ulttyn Sani" fair will be held at the "Khan Shatyr" shopping center.

From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the Saken Seifullin Museum will offer guided tours in national attire. At 12:00 PM, the Yerkegali Rakhmadiyev State Academic Philharmonic will host a flash mob in national costumes. Meanwhile, the Children’s Library No. 2 will hold a folklore hour, "Az Nauryz – Zhаnaru Men Zhangyrtudyn Bastauy."

At 2:00 PM, Library No. 8 will host a festive game program, "Qosh Keldің, Az-Nauryz." At 3:00 PM, the National Museum will present the ethnofestival "En ademi Kiim – Ulttyk Kiim." The M. Utemisov Palace of Schoolchildren will host the Republican contest among teenagers, "Zhigit Sultan," while the Qazaqstan Athletic Sports Complex will hold the "Qamazhai" flash mob. Girls aged 15-17 from 112 city schools will perform this dance.

March 19 – Renewal Day. A city-wide community clean-up will be organized across all districts as part of the national environmental campaign "Taza Qazaqstan. Astana – a Model of Cleanliness and Order."

On the same day, the "Young Talents 2025" craft competition will be held in the Zheleznodorozhny residential area. The Higher Medical College "Danalyk" will host the national cuisine festival "Forgotten National Dishes." At 12:00 PM, City Library No. 1 will hold a festive event titled "Nauryz – a Celebration of Prosperity and Tradition!"

March 20 will be celebrated as National Sports Day. In honor of this day, the "Nurlu Zhurek" Social Service Center will host a sports competition titled "National Games."

On March 20, the Longevity Center will hold a tournament in the traditional game of togyz kumalak among retirees from the Yesil district.

In the "Nura" Physical Culture and Wellness Complex, a tournament in national sports will be organized.

The "Qazaqstan" Athletic Sports Complex will host a family relay race called "Great Steppe Games," featuring competitions such as asyk atu, bes asyk, tug-of-war, langy tebu, and archery. At the "Argymak" Equestrian Health Complex, spectators can enjoy demonstrations of traditional games like tenge ilu, archery, kyz kuu, kokpar, asyk atu, falconry, and horseback riding traditions.

March 21 – Unity and Solidarity Day. At 5:00 PM, the Kazakh Orchestra "Dostyk Sazy" will perform a concert at the National Military-Patriotic Center of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On March 21 and 22, at 12:00 PM and 4:30 PM, the Puppet Theater will present the "Nauryz-Duman" show featuring life-sized puppets.

On these same days, all city districts will host competitions in national sports dedicated to the Nauryz celebration. Additionally, a "Walking Football" tournament will be held in Astana. The capital's House of Friendship will organize the event "Qosh Keldin, Az Nauryz."

March 22 – The Beginning of the Year. On this day, the "Nauryz Award" national prize ceremony will be held at the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation. At 6:00 PM, the Musical Theater for Young Audiences will stage the play "Abai-Togzhan."

March 23 – Day of Purification. At 9:00 AM, the "Qamkor" Social Service Center will conduct snow-clearing activities. At 10:00 AM, theater troupes from the capital will join an eco-action to clean the areas around their buildings.

On March 23, from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, Astana will support the international environmental campaign "Earth Hour." This annual global event, organized under the auspices of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), involves more than two billion people worldwide. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the need for responsible attitudes toward nature and the planet's resources.

On this day, as part of the "Cleanliness Relay," a national environmental campaign called "Tazaru" will take place across all districts of the capital, symbolizing the meeting of the New Year with new goals through the cleaning of yards from snow and debris.

It is worth noting that during the Nauryz celebrations, employees with a five-day workweek will have five consecutive days off – from March 21 to 25 inclusive.
