In accordance with paragraph 82 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On approval of the National Action Plan for the implementation of the Address of the Head of State to the People of Kazakhstan" (dated September 13, 2022 No. 1008), the Internet service Qazalem was created on April 17, 2023. The project operator was approved by the NPJSC "Otandastar Foundation".

The Qazalem portal is a unique Internet service that unites compatriots living outside Kazakhstan, provides them with services, as well as with information about the current situation and events in the country.

The portal is supplemented with projects for compatriots abroad:

-A module for pre-booking to embassies and consulates of Kazakhstan abroad through the portal;

-Multifunctional registration form:

-Pre-registration for various international events;

-Registration in the database of Kandas planning to immigrate to Kazakhstan;

-The ability to communicate with other users of the portal;

-Registration as a guide;

-Registration as a volunteer;

-The function of determining the level of proficiency in the Kazakh language;

-Package of offers and services for investors and tourists provided by partner companies;

-Projects presented by the Otandastar Foundation;

-Digital encyclopedia about Kazakhstan with more than 400 photos and information on 55 topics;

-Announcements of domestic and international events with the participation of Kazakhstan;

-World interactive map with information about 111 largest communities of Kazakhs abroad;

-The section in which legal advices and consultations for Kandas are published;

-Information section about online communities, fan clubs, organizations of compatriots abroad;

The portal intends to release interesting projects in several directions for users abroad in the near future.

In particular, it is planned to introduce online courses on the Kazakh language, national cuisine, dombra and togyzkumalak in several languages. Projects for Kazakhstani guides, volunteers, national brands, creative contests, and businesses will also be presented.
