December 2 this year NJSC Otandastar Qory under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a festive concert in the capital of Uzbekistan in the sunny city of Tashkent. The guests of the festive event were Kazakh youth living in Tashkent, compatriots and the Kazakh diaspora from the cities of Samarkand, Bukhara and Nauai.
The concert program, which took place at the Turkiston Palace of Arts, featured performances by Kazakh pop stars beloved by young people.
One of the main goals of this event is to strengthen cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, to popularize national art to our compatriots, including representatives of the younger generation.
The chairman of the “Kazakh National Center of Culture” in the Republic of Uzbekistan, Serikbai Usenov, delivered a welcoming speech. In his speech, the chairman of the center expressed his deep gratitude to the Otandastar Foundation for organizing the event. The Chairman also expressed gratitude to the government of Kazakhstan, which, together with the NJSC Otandastar Foundation, provides comprehensive support to ethnic Kazakhs. Serikbai Usenov in his speech proposed organizing more educational and cultural projects aimed at Kazakh youth living abroad. At the end of his speech, he wished success and blessed the youth.
With their unusual repertoire, Marhaba Sabi and Yenlik surprised the audience, while Madistation and Musa Marat delighted with their unique voices. In addition, lovers of the classics were not left unattended; the authors of more than 300 compositions, Galamat and Nurali Beisekozha, took part in the gala concert.
The concert ended with the performance of E. Khasangaliev’s song “Atameken”, and this work was performed by the entire audience together with the artists. More than 800 spectators gathered in the hall raised the Uzbek and Kazakh flags, which symbolizes the centuries-old friendship of peoples. Compatriots missing Kazakh music said goodbye to the stars of the evening with tears. In turn, the Kazakh artists spoke sincerely with the audience after the concert.
Let us note that this is the 8th concert organized at the initiative of the Otandastar Foundation NJSC this year. Previously, concerts for compatriots and the Kazakh diaspora were organized in Germany, Cologne, in the cities of Khobd and Bayan-Olgiy Mongolia, in Moscow, Russian Federation, Altai Territory of Barnaul, in the Altai Republic, Kosagash 🇰🇿🤝🇺🇿
