This course, opened between the KATEAD Association and the Otandastar Foundation based on the protocol signed on May 21, 2019, will be held online and will be free of charge.

"The necessary equipment for the course was sent from Kazakhstan on December 10, 2019. The Kazakh language courses will be organized in two districts of Istanbul: the first in the Zeytinburn district, and the second in the Bagcilar district. These two places were chosen due to the large number of Kazakhs. In the Bagcili district, the course will be held in the building of the Khoja Ahmed Yasawi Regional Foundation for Education and Education, founded by the Kazakhs. For this purpose, a protocol was signed between the KATEAD Association and the Khoja Ahmed Yasawi Foundation for a period of 3 years, and equipment for lectures delivered from Kazakhstan was delivered there,” said KATEAD Chairman Ertolkyn Gayretullah.

Classes are conducted live via Microsoft Teams. The curriculum consists of 45 interactive lessons with creative tasks to improve reading, listening and speaking skills. Based on the results of classes, school-age students are also sent to summer camps in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

“This measure will undoubtedly strengthen the ties of Kazakhs living in Turkey with Atazhurt. This is also a great opportunity for our compatriots who were born and raised here and want to be fluent in the Kazakh language. We express our gratitude to the Chairman of the Otandastar Foundation, Mr. Nurtai Abykaev , First Deputy of the World Association of Kazakhs Mr. Z. Turysbekov and all those citizens who created this opportunity. We, as a community, hope that as a result of such events we will be able to preserve the Kazakh culture and language, while continuing to actively work for the Kazakh culture and language,” says KATEAD Chairman Ertolkyn Gayretullah.
